Job Purpose
The IT Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, maintaining, and securing all information technology systems within the hotel. The role ensures smooth operation of hotel software, network infrastructure, guest-facing technology, cybersecurity, and technical support services to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities1. IT Infrastructure Management
- Manage and maintain hotel computer systems, servers, networks, and internet connectivity.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of Wi-Fi services for guests and staff.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Maintain data backup and disaster recovery systems.
2. Hotel Management Systems
- Administer and support Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Manage Point of Sale (POS) systems used in restaurants, bars, and other outlets.
- Support reservation, billing, accounting, and inventory software.
- Coordinate software upgrades and system integrations.
3. Technical Support
- Provide technical assistance to hotel departments.
- Resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required.
- Maintain IT helpdesk records and service logs.
4. Cybersecurity & Data Protection
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures.
- Ensure compliance with company data security policies.
- Protect guest and hotel information from unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
5. Hardware & Asset Management
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Oversee installation and maintenance of computers, printers, scanners, and communication devices.
- Recommend replacement or upgrades of outdated equipment.
6. Vendor & Contract Management
- Liaise with IT vendors, internet service providers, and software suppliers.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate service agreements.
- Monitor annual maintenance contracts (AMCs).
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, ITIL, or Cybersecurity certifications are preferred.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the hospitality or hotel industry preferred.
- Experience with PMS, POS, networking, servers, and hotel technology systems.

Working Conditions
- Flexible working hours as per hotel operational requirements.
- Availability for emergency technical support during system failures or critical incidents.
- May require work on weekends, holidays, or during hotel events.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹31,000.00 per month
