Job Summary
ABS General Solution India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchase Engineer with expertise in HVAC and MEP procurement. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting materials and services while ensuring cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for HVAC and MEP projects.
- Source vendors and obtain competitive quotations for HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and related materials.
- Prepare and evaluate comparative statements (CS) and recommend suitable suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual terms with vendors.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with project, estimation, design, and site teams to understand procurement requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement activities accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and project specifications.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
- Track material deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and MEP materials, equipment, and systems.
- Expertise in procurement, vendor development, and supply chain management.
- Good understanding of technical specifications and BOQs.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.
- Ability to prepare comparative statements and cost analysis reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- MBA in Supply Chain Management or Operations will be an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in procurement of HVAC equipment such as Chillers, VRF Systems, AHUs, FCUs, Ducting, Insulation, and Ventilation Systems.
- Experience in MEP procurement including Electrical Panels, Cables, Switchgear, Plumbing Materials, Fire Fighting Systems, and related services.
- Experience working with EPC, MEP Contracting, HVAC Contracting, or Building Services companies.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
