Sports Community Tele-Caller / Liaison
About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy, street-smart, and incredibly charismatic individual to join Swoot as the ultimate bridge between our community and our platform. This is not a typical, script-reading tele-calling job. You will be the voice, personality, and human touch behind our matchmaking ecosystem.
Your mission? Connect players, break down the friction of finding the right game or partner, and build thriving local sports communities over the phone, eventually guiding them seamlessly onto the Swoot app.
Key Responsibilities
The Matchmaker: Actively call and engage with our users to coordinate and curate sports matches, ensuring players find the right skill-level groups and court timings.
The Community Voice: Act as the primary spokesperson for Swoot, building deep, personal relationships with our players to drive user retention and active app engagement.
The Onboarding Guide: Call users to help them navigate matchmaking hurdles manually, creating a stellar first impression, and smoothly transitioning them into active app users.
Feedback Loop: Listen closely to user pain points during calls and share insights with the team to help improve the app experience.
What We Are Looking For
A Genuine Sports Fanatic: You must love, play, or thoroughly understand sports specifically Cricket or Padel. If you know the difference between an Americano tournament format and a regular knockout, or live for match-day strategy, you’ll fit right in.
Street-Smart & Jolly: We need a natural "people person" with infectious positive energy. You should be able to turn a cold or awkward call into a warm, friendly conversation within 30 seconds.
Relationship Builder: You don't just "close calls"; you build rapport. You should genuinely enjoy talking to people and helping them solve their scheduling headaches.
Excellent Communicator: Fluent, confident, and highly persuasive over the phone. You know how to read the room (or the voice) and adapt your style on the fly.
Tech-Savvy: Quick to learn backend systems and fluent enough with mobile apps to guide someone else through them effortlessly.
