- Plan and coordinate tool room activities based on production requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, tool drawings, and 2D/3D CAD models.
- Design and develop dies, moulds, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and special-purpose tools.
- Coordinate machining, fitting, grinding, EDM/Wire EDM, CNC, and other tool-room operations.
- Monitor tool manufacturing and ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of tools, dies, moulds, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot tool-related problems and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Design teams.
- Inspect components using instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and CMM where applicable.
- Maintain tool-room records, drawings, BOMs, maintenance schedules, and tool history.
- Ensure timely completion of tool development and repair activities.
- Identify opportunities to reduce tool costs, downtime, and manufacturing lead time.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain 5S standards in the tool room.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
