Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Has advanced and specialized expertise in an analytical/technical processes, typically developed through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
Completes assignments and facilitates the work activities of others; may coordinate work beyond own area
Proposes improvements to processes and methods
Has a good understanding of how related teams coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve department objectives
Exercises judgment to identify and solve problems that arise with little or no precedent
Impacts the effectiveness of own team and closely related teams

Supervisory Responsibilities
Serves as team lead, may allocate work and provide guidance to team members
Acts as a lead, coordinating the work of others but is not a supervisor
Requirements and Preferred Skills
Hands on experience of welding process (MIG / TIG / Brazing)
Hands on experience of measuring instruments like DVC, MM, Profile Projector, CMM / VMM, 3D scanner, Video Microscope, UTM, DFT Meter,
GD & T Knowledge
Basic knowledge of Problem-Solving Tools
Command on Word / Excel / Power Point
Good analytical and technical judgement skills, Laboratory Management, Awareness of national and international standards.
Material testing, knowledge of statistics in laboratory.
Problem solving method, Calibration, SPC, MSA, FMEA.
Knowledge of Quality System requirements ISO 9001 standards.
3 to 4 Years experience (Welding experience will be preferred), proven track record in Quality assurance functions, Laboratory/Incoming quality management/ Material testing.
DME / BE Mechanical.
