Shift Operations Management:
- Supervise machining operations (CNC, VMC, HMC, turning, drilling, etc.) during the assigned shift.
- Monitor production against shift targets and ensure timely completion.
- Ensure proper job allocation and shift handover from previous shift.
- Check availability of raw castings, tools, fixtures, and consumables.
Quality & Process Control:
- Ensure machined components meet quality and dimensional tolerances as per drawings/specifications.
- Conduct in-process inspections
- Ensure that operators follow SOPs, process sheets and control plans
People Management:
- Supervise and guide machine operators, technicians, and helpers during the shift.
- Monitor attendance, work discipline, and performance of shift employees.
- Resolve on-the-spot issues related to machines, manpower, or material.
