We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of our software products. The role involves designing and executing test cases, performing manual and security testing, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
- Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira and Zephyr.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and ensure timely bug fixes.
- Review requirements and provide input on testability and potential risks.
- Participate in test planning and test case review activities.
- Maintain clear documentation of test cases, execution results, and defect reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure overall product quality.
- Assist in basic security testing using tools like Burp Suite and DVWA (if applicable).
- Stay updated with QA practices and contribute to process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in Software Testing / QA.
- Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing techniques.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like Jira and Zephyr.
- Basic knowledge of API/UI testing concepts is a plus.
- Exposure to security testing tools (Burp Suite / DVWA) is an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
