As a Data Architect, a typical day involves defining the data requirements and designing the structure necessary to support the application. This role includes modeling the data architecture to ensure efficient storage and seamless integration across various components. The position requires a thoughtful approach to organizing data flows and collaborating with different teams to align the data framework with the overall application goals, ensuring that the data infrastructure supports both current and future needs effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of data architecture strategies to support business objectives.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on data requirements and solutions.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong expertise in data modeling and database design principles.
- Experience with data storage solutions and integration techniques.
- Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into scalable architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data management and architecture.
