Job Summary
The Delivery Manager is responsible for end-to-end delivery of technology and/or business solutions within the Capital Markets domain. This role ensures successful execution of projects, alignment with client expectations, and adherence to timelines, quality, and budget. The individual will work closely with stakeholders including front office, middle office, and back office teams across trading, risk, settlements, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery & Program Management
Own end-to-end delivery of projects/programs in Capital Markets (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, etc.)
Manage scope, timelines, budget, quality, and resources
Ensure adherence to SDLC/Agile methodologies
Drive release planning, sprint execution, and delivery governance
Identify and mitigate risks/issues proactively
2. Stakeholder Management
Engage with business stakeholders (traders, portfolio managers, operations teams)
Manage client expectations and ensure high customer satisfaction
Act as a bridge between business, technology, and vendors
Conduct regular governance meetings and status reporting
3. Domain Expertise (Capital Markets)
Strong understanding of:
Trade lifecycle (order, execution, clearing, settlement)
Asset classes: Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives
Regulatory compliance (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, SEBI regulations)
Risk and P&L systems
Experience with OMS/EMS, trading platforms, or post-trade systems
4. Team & Resource Management
Lead cross-functional delivery teams (Developers, QA, BA, DevOps)
Ensure optimal resource utilization and capacity planning
Mentor and coach team members
Drive performance management and skill development
