Job Title: Production Supervisor – Fabrication

Job Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day fabrication activities including cutting, drilling, welding, grinding, and assembly.
Monitor fabrication processes such as MIG/TIG/Arc welding, sheet metal work, and structural fabrication.
Ensure production targets are achieved as per fabrication drawings and project timelines.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
Manage shop floor manpower, machine utilization, and fabrication tools effectively.
Ensure quality of fabricated components as per standards and drawings.
Coordinate with design, quality, and stores teams for material availability and execution.
Inspect raw materials and finished fabricated structures to maintain quality standards.
Monitor production cycle time and implement improvements for better efficiency.
Maintain daily production reports, fabrication logs, and material usage records.
Ensure safety practices during welding, cutting, and fabrication activities.
Maintain discipline, 5S, and housekeeping on the shop floor.
Identify fabrication issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, bending, assembly)
Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings
Experience in industrial fabrication or structural work
Team handling and manpower management skills
Knowledge of quality control in fabrication
Basic knowledge of production planning and reporting
Familiarity with MS Excel / MS Office
Understanding of safety practices in fabrication environment
