Job Summary
The Hospital Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills to ensure a positive patient experience while maintaining accurate records and supporting daily administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
- Register patients and verify personal, insurance, and contact information.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain patient records and update information in the hospital management system.
- Collect payments, issue receipts, and assist with billing inquiries when required.
- Manage visitor check-in procedures and provide directions within the hospital.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments to facilitate patient flow.
- Handle confidential patient information in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Monitor the reception area to ensure it remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Respond to emergencies by notifying appropriate personnel according to hospital procedures.
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
