We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled IPAM Engineer / Specialist to join our Global Network Services team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise-scale IP Address Management (IPAM) and DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) environments across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
This role requires strong expertise in enterprise networking, IPAM automation, DNS/DHCP operations, cloud networking, and integration with modern SDN/data center technologies such as Cisco ACI and Arista CloudVision. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring scalable, secure, and highly available network infrastructure for global enterprise customers.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable IPv4/IPv6 addressing strategies and subnetting architectures.
- Administer enterprise DDI platforms such as Infoblox NIOS/Grid, BlueCat, or equivalent solutions.
- Configure and manage DNS zones, DHCP scopes, failover, reservations, and HA environments.
- Integrate IPAM platforms with Cisco ACI, Arista CloudVision, ServiceNow CMDB, and cloud-native IPAM services.
- Develop automation solutions using Python, Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs, and Git.
- Perform network discovery, IP tracking, auditing, and lifecycle management across multi-vendor environments.
- Monitor IP utilization trends and perform capacity planning for data centers, cloud, AI/ML, VDI, and enterprise expansion initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve DNS, DHCP, and IPAM-related incidents and provide L2/L3 support.
- Support cloud networking environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, audit standards, and zero-trust segmentation strategies.
- Lead IPAM modernization, migration, and IPv6 transition initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with Network, Security, Cloud, and Automation teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
- 6–10+ years of experience in Network Engineering with strong hands-on expertise in IPAM/DDI environments.
- Strong knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, VLANs, VRFs, routing, and enterprise network architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Infoblox NIOS/Grid (preferred), BlueCat, or equivalent DDI platforms.
- Good understanding of Cisco ACI, Arista EOS/CloudVision, Cisco DNA Center, and SDN environments.
- Experience in scripting and automation using Python, Ansible, PowerShell, REST APIs, or Terraform.
- Exposure to hybrid/multi-cloud networking environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced global enterprise environments and support critical infrastructure operations.
- Infoblox DDI Certified (Preferred)
- Cisco CCNA / CCNP (Enterprise or Data Center)
- Arista ACE Certification
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Experience in regulated industries such as Pharma, Healthcare, or Financial Services.
- Exposure to EVPN/VXLAN, SD-WAN, and network automation platforms.
- Knowledge of DNSSEC, DHCPv6, Anycast, and Zero-Trust Networking.
- Experience with enterprise observability and monitoring tools.
