We are looking for a passionate Junior Embedded Developer who enjoys working with both hardware and firmware and wants to build real-world products from concept to production.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontroller-based products.
- Develop drivers and application firmware for peripherals such as:
- GPIO
- UART
- SPI
- I2C
- ADC
- PWM
- Timers
- Work with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), wireless communication modules, and IoT devices.
- Debug firmware and hardware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
- Participate in board bring-up, testing, and validation activities.
- Understand and interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical documentation.
- Support integration of sensors, batteries, charging circuits, audio modules, and communication interfaces.
- Collaborate with hardware, mobile application, and cloud development teams.
- Maintain firmware documentation and version control practices.
- Assist in product testing, certification, and production support activities.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Good knowledge of Embedded C programming.
- Understanding of microcontroller architecture and embedded systems fundamentals.
- Experience with ARM Cortex-M, Nordic nRF52, STM32, ESP32, Padauk, or similar microcontrollers.
- Understanding of interrupt handling, timers, watchdogs, and low-power modes.
- Familiarity with communication protocols:
- UART
- SPI
- I2C
- CAN (preferred)
- Basic understanding of BLE and wireless communication.
- Ability to read electronic schematics and datasheets.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
Hardware Knowledge
- Basic electronics knowledge.
- Understanding of:
- Power supplies
- Battery charging circuits
- MOSFETs
- Operational Amplifiers (Op-Amps)
- Sensors
- ESD/EMI concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Instrumentation Engineering
- Embedded Systems
- Related disciplines
- Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- FreeRTOS or RTOS concepts
- Nordic nRF Connect SDK
- Zephyr RTOS
- Bluetooth audio products
- IoT devices
- Automotive electronics
- Smart helmets or wearable devices
