Position: Senior Fitter – (Bhadravathi, Karnataka).
Work Location: Bhadarvathi, Karnataka.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Fitter to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our factory machinery. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting machine breakdowns, equipment installation, and supporting production by minimizing downtime while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Position Overview
Title: Senior Fitter
Location: Bhadravathi, Karnataka.
Experience Required: 3 years to 5 years in fitter role or tools maintenance.
Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM(On-site)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of hydraulic pressing machines, washing machines, conveyors, and other production equipment.
Die changing, alignment, and machine setup activities.
Perform basic fabrication, cutting, drilling, grinding, and welding activities.
Attend machine breakdown calls and restore equipment quickly.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to hydraulic cylinder, motor, pump, gearbox, conveyor, light, fan , trolley etc.
Assist in machine improvement projects and modifications.
Follow preventive maintenance schedules of lubrication, cleaning, part replacement.
Record breakdown details and spare part requirements.
Maintain daily maintenance activity reports.
Inform supervisor regarding major issues and improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
Experience in mechanical fitting or similar work.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Skilled in using hand and power tools.
