Ab initio Developer
Role purpose:
We are seeking a skilled , proactive and seasoned Ab initio Developer to design, implement, and optimize high‑performance data processing solutions using Ab Initio GDE along with Teradata. The role involves performance tuning and metadata management for enterprise‑grade data integration, along with migration activities.
- 5+ years of strong, hands‑on experience with Ab Initio GDE, EME, Conduct>It, and MFS.
- Design and Develop Abinitio graphs using GDE.
- Developing / performance tuning of reusable components using Abinitio.
- Knowledge of Parallelism, custom transforms, vectors in Ab initio.
- Knowledge of mHub, co>op sys,DQE, Express>It, BRE Ab initio suite components
- Experience with performance tuning, optimization, and large‑volume data processing for complex Ab initio graphs.
- Strong Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and debugging skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and production support capabilities
- Deep understanding of ETL architecture, data modeling, and parallel processing
- Good understanding of PDL, Fan-in, Fan-out , pset,xfr
- Experience with Teradata SQL/Pl SQL.
- Skew Analysis and resolution.
- Strong understanding of Teradata architecture
