About the Role
Vedantu is looking for passionate and knowledgeable US Maths Tutors to provide one-to-one online tutoring to students following the US Maths curriculum.
The ideal candidate should have strong mathematical fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain concepts in a simple and engaging manner to students.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-to-one online Maths tutoring sessions for students.
- Teach and explain concepts according to the US Maths curriculum.
- Help students understand mathematical concepts through step-by-step explanations.
- Solve student doubts and provide appropriate guidance.
- Adapt teaching methods according to the student's learning level.
- Make online sessions interactive and engaging.
- Track student learning and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism during online sessions.
- Follow the curriculum and teaching methodology provided by Vedantu.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or a relevant field preferred.
- Prior experience in teaching/tutoring US Maths is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the US Maths curriculum.
- Excellent spoken English and communication skills.
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and patiently.
- Comfortable with one-to-one online tutoring.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must have a laptop/desktop and stable internet connection.
- Must be comfortable working during the 2:00 AM – 6:00 AM IST time window.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates with experience as:
- US Maths Tutor
- US Curriculum Maths Teacher
- Online Maths Tutor
- International Maths Tutor
- Maths Teacher – US Curriculum
- Academic Maths Tutor will be preferred.
Working Hours
2:00 AM – 6:00 AM IST
Candidates should be comfortable working during the above time window. Actual teaching hours may depend on student schedules and session allocation.
Important Requirement
Only candidates with relevant US Maths teaching/tutoring experience should be considered for this requirement.
Candidates with only Indian curriculum Maths teaching experience may not be suitable for this particular role.
Pay: ₹9,424.24 - ₹38,163.76 per month
