Production Supervisor/ Engineer/- VMC (Setter Cum Programmer)

Job description:
Capiq Engineering is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Engineer (Setter Cum Programmer) to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for programming, machine setup, process optimization, and production management for CNC Turning, VMC, and HMC machines while ensuring quality, productivity, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Develop, edit, and optimize VMC/CNC programs for VMC/CNC Turning, VMC, and HMC machines.
✅ Perform machine setup, tool setting, fixture setting, and prove-out of new jobs.
✅ Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining requirements.
✅Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, holders, and fixtures.
✅Optimize machining parameters and cycle times to improve productivity.
✅Conduct first-off inspection and support in-process quality checks.
Strong knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or equivalent VMC/CNC controls.
✅Proficiency in G-Code, M-Code, tooling selection, and machining processes.
✅Troubleshoot programming, tooling, machine, and process-related issues.
✅Monitor production activities and ensure achievement of production targets.
✅Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production departments.
✅Maintain setup sheets, process documentation, and production records.
✅Implement 5S, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives
✅Experience with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Solid CAM, Fusion 360, NX, or similar.
✅Knowledge of fixture development and tool optimization.
✅Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen practices.
