Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during night shifts.
- Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
- Monitor patient care activities and address clinical concerns promptly.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing personnel.
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care plans.
- Manage staffing assignments and maintain adequate unit coverage.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Respond to emergencies and facilitate appropriate interventions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) or equivalent qualification.
- Valid nursing registration.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities during night shifts.
