The Role We are a fast-growing defense and aerospace manufacturing startup. We don't need a desk manager to build theoretical quality frameworks — we need a hands-on expert on the shop floor.
Your primary objectives are straightforward: run our CMM, validate precision parts coming off our Cosmos VMCs, get our PPAPs cleared with zero friction, and confidently defend our quality data in meetings with our North American and international clients.
What You Will Actually Be Doing
- Programming and Operating the CMM: Hands-on programming and operation of our Accurate Spectra CMM using Rational DMIS software.
- Clearing PPAPs: Taking absolute ownership of the PPAP process for new product introductions and ensuring they are cleared by the client.
- GD&T Translation: Reading complex 2D/3D CAD models and applying ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards to create highly efficient measurement programs.
- Client Interfacing: Acting as the technical face of our quality department. You will sit in on international calls to present dimensional data, CMM reports, and root-cause analysis (8D/5-Why) directly to foreign stakeholders.
Strict Requirements (Do not apply if you do not meet all 4)
- CMM & Software: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience specifically programming and operating a CMM using DMIS.
- GD&T Mastery: Minimum 2 years of deep, practical experience with ASME Y14.5 standards. You must be able to validate tight-tolerance machined parts.
- PPAP Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven success submitting and clearing PPAP and FAI packages for precision machined components.
- Fluent English: You must possess exceptional English communication skills. You will be speaking directly with international clients; clarity and confidence are non-negotiable.
Education
- B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
