Puli and Co, a reputed Chartered Accountancy firm based in Anna Nagar, Chennai, is looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant with strong proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel (EEL). Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally Prime
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ledgers
- File GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns timely and accurately
- Reconcile bank statements and client accounts
- Prepare reports and analyze financial data using Excel
- Assist in audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Follow standard accounting practices and internal controls
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Tally Prime
- Proficiency in Excel (EEL) – including formulas, pivot tables, and charts
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience in a CA firm
- Familiarity with statutory audits and income tax procedures
