JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Project Coordination & Operations Officer
Reporting To:
Proprietor / Management
Experience Required:
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in Civil Construction Projects.
- Experience in Government Works preferred (CPWD, PWD, DDA, Railways, MES, NBCC, etc.).
- Experience in handling multiple project sites simultaneously.
Qualification:
- B. Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering preferred.
- Experienced candidates with strong practical knowledge may also be considered.
Job Purpose
To coordinate between project sites, office departments, vendors, subcontractors, and management for smooth execution of construction projects. The role will monitor project progress, resource requirements, billing, documentation, and payments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Monitoring
- Collect daily progress updates from all sites.
- Track project progress against work schedules.
- Identify delays and resource shortages.
- Submit project status reports to management.
2. Site Coordination
- Visit sites whenever required.
- Verify labour, material, and machinery availability.
- Monitor critical project activities.
- Report site issues to management.
3. Resource Planning & Follow-Up
- Maintain project-wise requirements of:
- Materials
- Labour
- Machinery
- Coordinate with Purchase, Store, and Site Teams.
- Ensure timely availability of resources.
4. Billing & Measurement Coordination
- Track measurement books (MBs) and site measurements.
- Monitor preparation and submission of RA Bills.
- Follow up for Final Bills and Extra Item Claims.
- Maintain billing status reports.
5. Payment Follow-Up
- Track submitted bills and pending payments.
- Coordinate with Accounts Department.
- Report overdue payments to management.
6. Documentation & Contract Support
- Maintain records of:
- Work Orders
- Drawings
- Approvals
- Correspondence
- EOT Cases
- Hindrance Registers
- Extra/Substituted Items
- Follow up for pending approvals.
7. MIS & Reporting
Prepare and submit:
- Daily Site Status Report
- Weekly Project Review Report
- Monthly MIS Report
- Billing Status Report
- Outstanding Payment Report
- Resource Requirement Report
Key Skills Required
- Good knowledge of Civil Construction Works.
- Understanding of BOQ, Measurements, and Billing.
- Knowledge of Government Contract Procedures.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Software Knowledge
- MS Excel (Must)

- Timely project progress reporting.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Pathankot, Punjab (Pathankot): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
