Job Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while achieving individual and showroom sales targets. The role involves assisting customers in selecting gold, diamond, silver, platinum, and other jewellery products, maintaining product knowledge, building long-term customer relationships, and ensuring showroom standards are upheld.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Service
- Welcome customers warmly and understand their jewellery requirements.
- Assist customers in selecting suitable jewellery based on their preferences, budget, and occasion.
- Explain product features, purity, weight, pricing, making charges, certifications, and warranty details.
- Generate repeat business by maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
Product Knowledge
- Maintain updated knowledge of gold, diamond, platinum, silver, watches, and gemstone jewellery.
- Understand current jewellery trends and collections.
- Stay informed about company offers, festive promotions, and jewellery schemes.
Sales Promotion
- Promote Gold Saving Schemes and other company membership programs.
- Inform customers about ongoing discounts, exchange offers.
- Participate in telecalling and customer follow-up activities.
- Assist in customer engagement events and exhibitions.
Inventory & Counter Management
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the assigned display counter.
- Ensure proper display of jewellery as per merchandising guidelines.
- Verify stock before opening and after closing the showroom.
- Report any discrepancies immediately to the showroom manager.
- Handle jewellery with utmost care and follow security procedures.
Billing & Documentation
- Coordinate with the billing team for smooth customer transactions.
- Assist customers with exchange, repair, and order booking procedures.
- Maintain customer information accurately in the CRM system.
Compliance
- Follow all company policies, SOPs, and security procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding customer information and company operations.
- Adhere to attendance, grooming, and professional conduct standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate preferred.
- Certification in Jewellery Retail is an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in jewellery retail sales preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a passion for sales may also apply.
Skills Required

- Good presentation and grooming.
- Fluency in Malayalam; knowledge of English, Tamil, or Hindi is an advantage.
