Business Developer - EV Charging
a. Location: Mumbai, India
b. BUSINESS DEVELOPER – ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING
i. The BDM is a key position within the organization; working closely with senior management, the individual will be primarily responsible for growing the business by developing relationships with suitable landlords and partners with prime locations for rapid charger installations, car dealers, OEM Manufacturers, real estate companies/ developers, etc
ii. High-level negotiations with Private Company Directors and/or Government officers for government project conceptualization, budgeting, tendering, and closure.
c. Responsibilities and duties
i. Identifying private/public landlords and retail partners
ii. Pitching products and services
iii. Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing partners and customers
iv. Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
v. Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
vi. Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
vii. Working closely with the Marketing and Services Manager to ensure a high level of continuity throughout the core business
viii. Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
ix. Preparing PowerPoint presentations, tenders, and sales displays
x. Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
xi. Developing sites with suitable grid capacity
xii. Negotiating lease agreements and renegotiating by phone, email, and in-person
xiii. Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
xiv. Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
d. Skills and qualifications
i. Degree qualification
ii. 5 years of relevant sector experience - commercial property, sustainability, electric mobility exposure, fleet sales
iii. Creative talents, innovative self-starter, and the ability to negotiate and solve tough problems
iv. Relevant sector experience - commercial property, sustainability, electric mobility exposure, fleet sales
v. In-depth knowledge(preferable) of the EV industry and its current events
vi. The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
vii. Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations
viii. Attention to detail, commercially orientated
ix. Excellent time management, organization, and presentation skills
x. Knowledge of the grid preferred

Salary: Can be discussed at the time of Interview
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
