Position: Architectural Draftsperson
Role Summary
An Architectural Draftsperson is responsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings, plans, and technical documents based on the concepts and instructions provided by architects and designers. They support project planning, design development, and execution by creating accurate 2D and 3D drawings for residential, commercial, and interior projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, and detailed working drawings.
- Develop 2D plans, elevations, sections, and shop drawings.
- Create 3D models and presentation drawings when required.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, site teams, and consultants.
- Revise drawings as per client requirements and project changes.
- Ensure drawings comply with building standards and regulations.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar drafting software.
- Knowledge of architectural detailing and construction methods.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Drafting.
- Relevant experience in architectural drafting preferred.
Experience :
- 1–5 years of experience in architectural drafting or related field (depending on company requirement)
