Job Description – MEP Engineer

About the Role
One Group is looking for an experienced MEP Engineer to oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works across our residential and commercial real estate projects. The role involves coordinating design, execution, and quality control for MEP systems across ongoing and upcoming sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate MEP drawings (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting) with architects, structural consultants, and contractors
- Supervise on-site MEP execution to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and timelines
- Conduct quality checks and inspections of MEP installations at various construction stages
- Prepare and review BOQs, material requisitions, and cost estimates for MEP works
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for procurement, scheduling, and installation of MEP equipment
- Resolve site-level technical issues and clashes between MEP and civil/structural works
- Maintain documentation: inspection reports, testing & commissioning records, as-built drawings
- Support in preparing project schedules and monitoring progress against MEP milestones
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in MEP execution, preferably in residential apartments / group housing
- Experience in finishing of projects built with MIVAN (Aluminium formwork)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Familiarity with AutoCAD; exposure to Revit MEP/BIM tools is a plus
- Good coordination and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word for reporting and documentation
- Willingness to work on-site and travel between project locations as needed
Preferred
- Prior experience with a real estate developer (not just a contracting/consulting firm)
- Exposure to high-rise residential or township projects
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
