We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Solar Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, meeting potential customers, conducting site assessments, presenting solar energy solutions, and closing sales. This role requires strong communication skills, sales expertise, and a passion for renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through field sales, referrals, and networking.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable solar energy solutions.
- Conduct customer meetings and presentations to explain product benefits and ROI.
- Perform preliminary site assessments and gather necessary installation information.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and financing options.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Keep accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM.
- Stay updated on solar industry trends, government incentives, and competitor offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 1-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in solar, energy, electrical, or related industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Basic understanding of solar energy systems and renewable energy solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in B2C and B2B sales.
- Knowledge of solar subsidies, net metering, and financing options.
- Strong lead generation and customer relationship management abilities.
