We are looking for an experienced CAD Design Engineer with strong expertise in 3D design and Solid Edge software. The role involves end-to-end design activities including modelling, detailing, and preparation of production-ready drawings.
- Design, model, and detail mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Work across multiple domains such as:Casting, Sheet Metal, Plastics, Structures, Large Assembly Management
- Design and development in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) domains.
- Create accurate production drawings using GD&T standards.
- Apply strong knowledge of welding symbols and fabrication practices.
- Use advanced part modelling techniques; experience in surface modelling is an added advantage.
- Ensure design quality, manufacturability, and compliance with standards.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams through clear written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Solid Edge design software.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and welding standards.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical component design and detailing.
- Ability to handle large and complex assemblies efficiently.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in CAD design using Solid Edge.
