We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support enterprise cloud infrastructure across multiple cloud service providers (CSPs) such as Azure, Oracle OCI, AWS and GCP.
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions that support enterprise applications, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), disaster recovery, and modernization initiatives. This individual will work closely with infrastructure, networking, security, application, and operations teams to drive cloud adoption and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate possesses strong infrastructure engineering fundamentals, extensive automation experience, and a deep understanding of hybrid cloud architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Engineering
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure.
- Develop cloud architectures that align with security, compliance, resiliency, and cost optimization requirements.
- Support hybrid-cloud strategies integrating on-premises data centers with public cloud platforms.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and provide recommendations for adoption.
Infrastructure & Platform Services
- Implement and manage cloud compute, storage, identity, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Support cloud-hosted infrastructure for application platforms and enterprise workloads.
- Design and maintain highly available and fault-tolerant environments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams supporting virtualization, storage, and networking platforms.
Automation & Infrastructure as Code
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or similar technologies.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, compliance validation, and operational workflows.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines supporting cloud infrastructure deployment and lifecycle management.
Security & Governance
- Partner with security teams to implement cloud security best practices and governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement monitoring, logging, identity management, and security controls across cloud platforms.
- Participate in cloud architecture reviews and security assessments.
Operations & Optimization
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, capacity, and cost efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues spanning cloud and on-premises environments.
- Develop operational standards, runbooks, and technical documentation.
- Participate in major incident response and root cause analysis activities.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for cloud technologies.
- Mentor engineers and administrators in cloud best practices.
- Work closely with application teams to enable cloud adoption and modernization efforts.
- Contribute to strategic planning and cloud roadmap development.
