Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Draftsman with 4+ years of experience in preparing electrical drawings and layouts for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The candidate should have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and a good understanding of electrical design standards and coordination requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and single-line diagrams using AutoCAD.
- Develop lighting, power, earthing, and cable routing drawings.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, architects, and MEP teams for design modifications.
- Prepare as-built drawings and revise drawings based on site requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes and project standards.
- Maintain drawing records and documentation.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (mandatory).
- Knowledge of electrical drafting standards and symbols.
- Understanding of lighting, power distribution, earthing, and cable tray layouts.
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience working on commercial, residential, industrial, or MEP projects.
- Exposure to Revit MEP will be an added advantage.
