Job Description-Hotel Captain / Restaurant Captain
Department: Food & Beverage Service
Reports To: F&B Manager
Location: Rewari (Haryana)
Education: Graduation/Diploma/12th
Experience: 3–5 years experience in restaurant or hotel services
Job Summary:
The Hotel Captain is responsible for supervising restaurant service staff, ensuring excellent guest service, and maintaining high standards of food and beverage service. The role involves coordinating with kitchen staff, handling guest queries, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations during service hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
- Ensure guests are welcomed and seated properly.
- Take orders and ensure accurate communication with the kitchen.
- Ensure timely and proper serving of food and beverages.
- Monitor service standards as per hotel policies.
- Supervise stewards and service staff during shifts.
- Assign duties and service sections to team members.
- Train staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and grooming.
- Ensure discipline and teamwork within the service team.
- Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction with service.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve service issues promptly.
- Ensure personalized and courteous service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team for order preparation and service timing.
- Work closely with the bar, housekeeping, and front office when required.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and ambiance.
- Ensure proper handling of restaurant bills and POS entries.
- Monitor usage of service equipment, crockery, and cutlery.
- Assist in stock control and reporting breakages.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas.
- Follow health, safety, and fire safety procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
