You develop and manage GIS solutions and geospatial data for international projects. Working closely with technical and project teams, you help create and maintain Digital Twins using different GIS tools, spatial data, and map services.
You ensure that geospatial data, systems, and visualisations are accurate, reliable, and ready for internal use and client-facing applications.
- Build and maintain GIS data models, spatial databases, and map services.
- Support the development of Digital Twins for different projects and use cases.
- Configure and manage GIS servers, such as GeoServer and MapServer .
- Publish and maintain WMS, WFS, and WMTS services.
- Work with developers on spatial queries, APIs, and frontend map integrations.
- Ensure geospatial data quality, consistency, performance, and version control.
- Support project teams with GIS analysis, maps, data visualisation, and technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot GIS, rendering, and performance issues.
- Improve GIS workflows, standards, and data-governance processes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in GIS, Geoinformatics, Geography, Computer Science , or a related field.
- Strong practical experience with GIS systems, geospatial data, and spatial data management.
- Solid technical understanding and interest in developing Digital Twins .
- Experience with PostGIS and spatial databases.
- Hands-on experience with GeoServer and/or MapServer .
- Good knowledge of WMS, WFS, WMTS, coordinate systems, and map projections.
- Experience with frontend GIS libraries such as Leaflet or OpenLayers is an advantage.
- Experience with spatial analytics and large-scale geospatial datasets is preferred.
- Strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with international project teams.
- Fluent English language skills are a strong advantage.
