Company Description
Sumatak Technologies is a software development startup that specializes in creating innovative products and solutions using AI and ML. We aim to solve real-world challenges across industries such as accessibility, cybersecurity, and more.
We are building the automated web-accessibility auditing platform. We're hiring our in-house accessibility expert to manually audit websites against WCAG 2.2, IS 17802. You'll audit real sites with NVDA/JAWS and keyboard-only testing, write precise findings tied to success criteria and work directly with our product team to make automated accessibility better for everyone.
You bring: 3+ years of hands-on manual accessibility auditing, deep WCAG 2.2 knowledge, screen-reader fluency (NVDA/JAWS), and ARIA/APG pattern expertise. IAAP CPACC/WAS and lived AT experience are big pluses.
What you'll do
- Audit websites and web apps by hand against WCAG 2.2 (A/AA/AAA), IS 17802 etc - keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader testing, focus management, ARIA/APG pattern conformance, color/contrast, forms, and dynamic content.
- Validate engine output. Spot-check findings our engine produces, confirm or reject them, and characterize where automation diverges from expert judgment.
- Write clear, actionable findings. Each issue: what's broken, which success criterion, who it affects (e.g. blind, low-vision, motor, cognitive), and how to fix it.
- Partner with the product and engineering teams to feed your findings back into improving the engine and reporting.
- Deliver client-facing manual audits and VPATs as we onboard customers.

- Ability to write precise, reproducible issue reports.
Nice to Have
- IAAP certification (CPACC and/or WAS).
