In your new role, you’ll engineer and maintain innovative, customer centric, high performance, secure and robust solutions.
You’ll be working within a feature team and using extensive experience to engineer software, scripts and tools that are often complex, as well as liaising with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform.
You’ll also be:
Develop reusable and responsive UI components using HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Convert UX/UI designs (Figma / Adobe XD) into pixel perfect, production ready UI
Implement UI components integrated with AEM platform (Adobe Experience Manager preferred)
Ensure cross browser, cross device, and mobile first compatibility
Follow design system and component standards for UI consistency
Optimize UI for performance, load time, and responsiveness
Implement accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.1 / 2.2)
Collaborate with:
o UX designers for design accuracy
o Backend/AEM developers for data integration
o QA teams for testing and defect resolution
- Debug UI issues and fix production defects
- Maintain clean, modular, and maintainable frontend code
- Participate in code reviews and continuous UI improvements
You’ll need a background in software engineering, software design, architecture, and an understanding of how your area of expertise supports our customers.
You’ll also need:
3+ years of experience as a UI / Front End Developer, with hands on work in AEM Sites projects.
Strong skills in HTML, CSS (Sass),jquery, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design.
Experience building and integrating UI using HTL (Sightly) and AEM component frameworks.
Good understanding of accessibility (WCAG), SEO best practices, and cross browser compatibility.
Ability to collaborate with AEM backend teams, designers to deliver scalable UI solutions.
