Job Summary
The Community Mobilizer will be responsible for identifying, counseling, and mobilizing eligible candidates for enrollment in General Duty Assistant (GDA) and Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) training programs under OSDA and DDU-GKY projects. The role involves extensive fieldwork, community engagement, awareness generation, and coordination with local stakeholders to achieve enrollment targets.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Mobilization
- Identify and mobilize eligible candidates aged 18 to 35 years for GDA and ANM training programs.
- Conduct door-to-door visits, community meetings, and awareness campaigns in villages, urban communities, and educational institutions.
- Create awareness about career opportunities in the healthcare sector and benefits of skill development programs.
Community Engagement
- Build strong relationships with local community leaders, SHGs (Self-Help Groups), Panchayat representatives, NGOs, schools, colleges, and other stakeholders.
- Organize counseling sessions, mobilization drives, and promotional events to increase candidate participation.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates and their families to address concerns and encourage enrollment.
Counseling & Documentation
- Screen candidates as per project eligibility criteria.
- Guide candidates regarding course details, training duration, placement opportunities, and project benefits.
- Assist candidates in collecting and submitting required documents for admission.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of mobilization records and reports.
Coordination & Follow-Up
- Coordinate with training centers and project teams for admission and batch formation.
- Conduct follow-ups with interested candidates until enrollment is completed.
- Support retention activities and track candidate attendance during the initial training period.
Reporting
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly mobilization reports to the reporting manager.
- Maintain data on candidate leads, admissions, and conversion rates.
- Meet assigned mobilization and enrollment targets.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Minimum Graduate in any discipline.
- Candidates with experience in community outreach, social work, healthcare training, or skill development projects will be preferred.
Experience
- More than 1 Year of experience in community mobilization, field marketing, counseling, recruitment, or skill development projects.
- Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply.
Skills Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to counsel and motivate candidates and their families.
- Knowledge of local communities and rural outreach activities.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Email, Data Entry).
- Ability to travel extensively for field mobilization activities.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in OSDA, DDU-GKY, PMKVY, NSDC, or other skill development projects will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with healthcare training programs such as GDA, ANM, Nursing Assistant, or Allied Healthcare Courses.
- Knowledge of the local language and culture.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
