Role Description
This is a remote internship role for a User Interface Designer. The intern will support the design team by creating and refining interface layouts, visual elements, and interactive components for web and mobile products. Day-to-day tasks include producing mockups and design variations, collaborating with UX designers to translate user flows into clear interfaces, and preparing design assets for development handoff. The role also involves participating in design reviews, applying feedback to improve work, and ensuring consistency with existing design systems or style guides. Interns may assist in basic front-end implementation or documentation to help bridge design and development teams.
Qualifications
- Strong visual design and user interface design skills, with an eye for layout, typography, color, and consistency.
- Ability to create clear mockups and interface components using modern design tools (e.g., Figma).
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and the ability to work with UX flows and wireframes.
- Basic familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, responsive design) is beneficial.
- Portfolio or samples demonstrating UI work for web or mobile interfaces.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Interest in learning, openness to feedback, and willingness to iterate based on user and stakeholder input.
- Relevant coursework or training in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field is a plus.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
