- Surveillance: Monitor security cameras, alarms, and surveillance equipment to detect irregularities or potential threats.
- Patrol: Conduct regular patrols of the premises (interior/exterior) to ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure.
- Access Control: Verify IDs, manage visitor logs, and prevent unauthorized access or entry into restricted areas.
- Emergency Response: Act as a first responder to alarms, disturbances, medical emergencies, or safety hazards.
- Reporting: Document daily activities, routine inspections, and incident reports detailing any security breaches.
- Enforcement: Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and regulations to maintain a secure environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is generally required.
- Licensing: Valid security guard license/certification for the state or region.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift, and, if required, handle physical altercations.
- Skills: Strong observation skills, communication skills, and ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.
