About Glory Shipmanagement
Glory Shipmanagement is looking for an experienced Marine Superintendent to join our shore management team and oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our offshore fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day marine operations, safety, and compliance of assigned offshore vessels.
- Conduct and attend internal and external audits, vessel inspections, and compliance monitoring.
- Liaise with Classification Societies, DG Shipping, MMD, Flag Administration, and other statutory authorities.
- Coordinate vessel surveys, certifications, and ensure continuous regulatory compliance.
- Monitor compliance with ISM Code, Class, Flag State, and statutory requirements.
- Provide operational support to vessel Masters and ensure adherence to company safety and operational standards.
- Investigate marine incidents, identify corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide operational support during emergencies and be willing to work flexible hours as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Master Mariner (FG) with strong sailing experience in the rank of Master.
- Minimum 2 years of shore experience as a Marine Superintendent or in a similar role.
- Prior experience with AHTS, PSV, or Offshore Support Vessels will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vessel operations, ISM, Class, Flag State, and statutory requirements.
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, surveys, and liaising with regulatory authorities.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on operational requirements.
- Candidates residing in or around Vashi / Navi Mumbai, or within a convenient commuting distance from our office, will be preferred.
