Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do)
· Financial Operations: Oversee daily Finance functions, maintain accurate books, and generate timely MIS reports.
· Project Cost Control: Track construction expenditures against milestones and flag cost overruns or budget deviations early.
· Cash Flow Management: Monitor customer collections, milestone billings, and streamline vendor/contractor payments.
· Statutory Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with RERA (including the 70% escrow rule), GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
· Banking & Audits: Coordinate annual audits and manage relationships for project loans and credit limits.
· Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the accounts team.
Performance Metrics (How Success is Measured)
· Zero major errors in monthly MIS and statutory filings.
· Minimal variance between actual project spend versus budgeted estimates.
· High collection efficiency and reduction in overdue customer receivables.
· 100% on-time remittance of GST, TDS, and RERA-mandated transfers.
Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance / M.Com.
Experience: 7-10 Proven track record in Real Estate project finance and cost control.
Regulatory Expertise: Strong grasp of Indian statutory laws, RERA mandates, and tax frameworks.
Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP) and advanced MS Excel.
