SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Assist with GST returns, TDS returns, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit activities.
- Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely closing of accounts.
- Support budgeting, expense tracking, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred).
- 4+ years of relevant experience in accounting; senior-level experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
- Experience in a manufacturing/engineering company will be an advantage.
