Job Summary:
A Maintenance Fitter is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations in a plant, factory, or workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery
- Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance
- Carry out preventive maintenance as per schedule
- Dismantle and reassemble machines and components
- Replace worn or defective parts such as bearings, belts, and gears
- Align and calibrate machinery for proper functioning
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals
- Ensure minimal downtime by quick fault resolution
- Maintain maintenance records and reports
- Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
- Familiarity with tools like spanners, micrometers, and alignment tools
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Good physical stamina and attention to detail
Education & Experience:
- ITI in Fitter trade or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in maintenance (industry-dependent)
Work Environment:
- Industrial plants, factories, or workshops
- Exposure to noise, heat, grease, and heavy machinery
- May require shift work or emergency call duties

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
