Job Summary:
The Production Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring fabrication and production activities related to PEB structures and steel fabrication. The role ensures production targets, quality standards, safety compliance, and timely delivery of fabricated components according to engineering drawings and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily production activities for PEB and structural steel fabrication.
- Interpret fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and shop drawings.
- Coordinate cutting, welding, drilling, assembly, and painting operations.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure achievement of daily and monthly targets.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
- Coordinate with design, planning, QA/QC, stores, and dispatch departments.
- Maintain production reports, material consumption records, and work progress data.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and welding procedures.
- Monitor machine maintenance requirements and coordinate preventive maintenance.
- Implement and enforce safety practices on the shop floor.
- Reduce rework, wastage, and production downtime.
- Supervise fabrication activities such as: Beam fabrication, Column fabrication, Plate fabrication, Built-up sections, Purlins and bracings.
- Handle subcontractor and workforce coordination when required.
- Support continuous improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of PEB fabrication processes and structural steel fabrication.
- Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Familiarity with welding processes (MIG, ARC, SAW).
- Understanding of production planning and workflow management.
- Knowledge of fabrication machinery: CNC cutting machines, Beam line machines, Welding machines, Shot blasting and painting systems
- Basic knowledge of quality inspection standards.
- Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in: Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering/ Industrial Engineering/ Civil Engineering (preferred in PEB industry)
Experience
- 1 – 5 years of experience in:
- PEB manufacturing
- Structural steel fabrication
- Heavy fabrication industry

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
