Position: Stores Executive – Scrap Management
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 1-4 Years
CTC: Up to ₹25,000 per month
Job Summary
We are looking for a Stores Executive with experience in scrap management and store operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining scrap inventory records, coordinating scrap disposal activities, ensuring proper documentation, and supporting overall store management functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain records of scrap materials generated, received, and disposed of.
- Monitor scrap inventory and ensure proper storage and segregation.
- Coordinate with site teams, vendors, and management for scrap disposal activities.
- Prepare scrap issue notes, gate passes, and related documentation.
- Verify quantities and weights of scrap before dispatch.
- Maintain stock registers and update inventory records regularly.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and audit requirements.
- Assist in physical stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
- Coordinate with transporters and scrap buyers for timely lifting of scrap material.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the store and scrap yard.
- Generate periodic reports on scrap generation, disposal, and stock status.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Stores and Scrap Management.
- Knowledge of inventory control and store operations.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory documentation.
- Good record-keeping and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with construction, manufacturing, or industrial scrap management will be preferred.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Additional qualification in Stores, Inventory Management, or Logistics will be an added advantage.
