Job Summary
Yashodeep Knowledge Hub invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Assistant Professor – Pharmacognosy. The candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate pharmacy students, conducting practical sessions, guiding research activities, and supporting departmental academic and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Pharmacognosy subjects to B.Pharm students as per PCI and university curriculum.
- Conduct theory lectures, practical sessions, tutorials, and assessments.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, laboratory manuals, and question papers.
- Guide students in projects, seminars, and research activities.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals, specimens, and records.
- Participate in accreditation, inspection, and compliance activities related to PCI, AICTE, and university requirements.
- Contribute to curriculum development, academic planning, and institutional activities.
- Attend faculty development programs, workshops, conferences, and seminars.
- Maintain academic records and ensure timely completion of syllabus.
Qualifications
- M.Pharm in Pharmacognosy from a recognized university.
- Qualifications must be as per PCI, AICTE, and Government norms.
- Candidates with research publications and teaching experience will be preferred.
Experience
- Prior teaching or research experience in a pharmacy institution will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong subject knowledge in Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry.
- Excellent teaching, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations.
- Knowledge of PCI, AICTE, and university regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and academic documentation.
