PositionHospital Administrator(Pre-Opening, Commissioning & Hospital Operations)Position Summary
We are looking for an energetic, highly organized and professionally qualified Hospital Administrator capable of managing the complete administrative development of a specialty hospital.
The selected candidate will work closely with the hospital promoter, consultants, architects, engineers and clinical team to establish the hospital from the ground up and later oversee its daily operations.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills and a thorough understanding of hospital administration, NABH principles, healthcare regulations and operational management.
Key ResponsibilitiesA. Pre-Opening Responsibilities
Lead the complete administrative planning of the hospital including:
- Hospital commissioning
- Department planning
- Operational workflow planning
- Recruitment planning
- Hospital policies and SOP development
- Vendor coordination
- Medical equipment coordination
- Licensing and statutory approvals
- Budget monitoring
- Procurement planning
- Facility readiness
- Hospital branding support
- Operational checklists
- Staff orientation
- Opening strategy
B. Project Coordination
Coordinate with:
- Architects
- Interior Designers
- Structural Engineers
- MEP Consultants
- Medical Equipment Suppliers
- IT Vendors
- Furniture Suppliers
- Biomedical Waste Agencies
- Ambulance Vendors
- Pharmacy Suppliers
Monitor project progress and ensure operational requirements are incorporated during construction.
C. Regulatory & Compliance
Coordinate and facilitate:
- Clinical Establishment registration
- Fire & Safety requirements
- Pollution Control requirements
- Biomedical Waste Management
- Electrical approvals
- Lift certification
- Pharmacy licensing
- Laboratory compliance
- Radiation safety requirements (where applicable)
- NABH preparation (preferred)
D. Human Resources
Plan and coordinate recruitment of:
- Doctors
- Nurses
- Technicians

- Reception Staff

Prepare:

E. Hospital Operations

Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in:

Master in Hospital Administration
Experience
Minimum 5 years in hospital administration.
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Successfully commissioned a hospital
- Worked in NABH hospitals

- Managed hospital operations independently
