BACKGROUND
The Hans Foundation (THF), established in 2009, is a Public Charitable Trust that works towards creating an equitable society to enhance quality of life for all through the empowerment of marginalized and underprivileged communities in India. The Hans Foundation works for the Health and Wellbeing of remote and under-served groups, with an additional focus on children, persons with disabilities and women. THF also works for holistic Education and Livelihood development of our communities. Our Two-Fold Strategy involves identifying and working within Aspirational Districts and high poverty index in the North, North-East and East regions within specific states, as well as catering to lower-income and migratory populations in cities, through urban programs.
Over its 15 years of existence, THF has reached more than 57 million beneficiaries through its programs. THF works with communities through direct implementation of projects on the ground in addition to providing local management and monitoring support to not-for-profit organizations in India funded through THF USA and RIST.
GENERAL
Location of Job: Rajasthan

Reporting to: Regional Senior Manager /Deputy Manager-Programme.
JOB PURPOSE
Project Manager is responsible for management and overall MMU operation and implementation.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Project Management:
-
Setting up of districts, Block offices and responsible for its logistics procurement.

Liaison and coordinate with health departments for approvals and successful implementation.
-
Work closely with SPC (Senior Project Coordinator) and PCs (Project Coordinators) and MMU teams, ensuring smooth implementation of the programs.

Guide and monitor the senior project coordinators and project coordinators in identification of villages and finalize the route charts for the MMUs.

Ensures the regular supplies for MMUs through management of supply chains.

Forecast the requirements of MMUs to ensure timely supply of drugs, consumables etc by coordinating with concerned teams and submit the indent to regional office.

Ensuring high level of data maintenance for all reporting purposes.

Conduct regular field visits to monitor project implementation, provide supportive supervision to project teams, and ensure quality service delivery.

Ensuring stakeholders involvement for efficient project outcomes.

Management and monitoring of all fixed/consumable assets.

Tracking the MMUs maintenance records like insurance/servicing/pollution/fitness etc. and provide timely information to regional office.

Ensures disposal of bio medical waste generate in MMUs as per MPCC provision.

Periodic meeting with district health departments like CMO/NHM/ICDS etc to have required support for MMUs’ operations.

Responsible for uninterrupted operations of the MMUs

Case study/anecdotes collection from the field with high-quality photograph.

Ensure timely submission of mandatory reports as required.
Team Management and Coordination:

Coordinate with SPCs, PCs, and MMU teams by providing supervision, conducting periodic review meetings, and ensuring effective project implementation.

Ensures team attendance, keeping the leave records and submitting leaves and share attendance records to regional office in timely manner.

Plan and implement trainings and capacity building activities for the team members.

Provides proactive, timely support to new projects and consistently demonstrates initiative along with a strong learning mindset.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting:

Responsible for tracking of MMUs through GPS tracking and other mechanism.

Oversee the data on App and ensuring that the team is updating it with accuracy.

Coordinate with SPC PCs for preparation of monthly and quarterly reports and timely submission to the regional office, Health departments and doners.
Finance
-
Manage project finances by preparing work plans, processing bills, tracking budgets, maintaining petty cash, and ensuring compliance with organizational financial policies.

Ensures timely collection, verification and submission of bills from the field to regional office like fuel, MMUs maintenance, office supplies and maintenance etc. accordance with financial policies and procedures

Tracking the monthly and annual budget and ensure proper utilization of budget accordingly.
Other Indicative Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Master’s degree in social sciences/ public health or any relevant field
Functional / Technical Skills and Relevant Experience & Other requirements (Behavioural, Language, Certifications etc.)
