Senior Pattern & Cutting Master – Women’s Couture / Western Wear
Location: Kolkata (Workshop-based)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Pattern & Cutting Master to join our luxury women’s western wear label.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop manual patterns for couture and premium western wear.
- Create, modify, and finalize patterns from designer sketches.
- Handle fabric cutting for samples and production.
- Conduct fittings, pattern corrections, and draping.
- Coordinate closely with designers, sample tailors, and the production team.
- Ensure production-ready patterns with excellent fit, construction, and finishing.
Experience & Skills
- 15+ years of experience in women’s western wear or couture.
- Proven expertise in corsets, structured blazers, gowns, dresses, drapes, and occasion wear.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fitting, grading, cutting, and draping.
- Manual pattern making is mandatory.
- Knowledge of CAD software (Gerber, Optitex, Lectra, or similar) is an added advantage.
- Prior experience with designer labels, couture houses, or premium apparel brands will be preferred.
- Ability to independently develop first samples and support production from pattern to final garment.
