Role Summary
The Tamil Teacher will be responsible for teaching Tamil language as per State Board syllabus, improving students’ reading, writing, grammar, and literature skills, and preparing students for exams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Academic Duties
Teach Tamil subject as per Tamil Nadu State Board syllabus.
Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
Complete syllabus on time.
Conduct regular class tests and assessments.
2. Student Development
Improve students’ reading, writing, grammar, and speaking skills.
Encourage participation in Tamil speech, essay, and cultural activities.
Support slow learners with extra coaching if required.
3. Exam & Evaluation
Prepare question papers and worksheets.
Correct answer sheets and provide feedback.
Focus on improving 10th and 12th public exam results (if handling higher grades).
4. Discipline & Classroom Management
Maintain discipline in the classroom.
Monitor student attendance and behaviour.
Communicate with parents regarding academic progress.
5. School Activities
Participate in school events and cultural programs.
Support school administration when required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Tamil.
B.Ed. mandatory (preferred for higher classes).
Strong knowledge of Tamil grammar and literature.
Good communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in handling State Board exam classes.
Clear pronunciation and strong explanation skills.
Ability to motivate students.
Basic computer knowledge.

Pay: ₹10,496.38 - ₹40,244.05 per month
