Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mold Setter with 1–2 years of experience in Injection Molding to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mold installation, changeovers, machine setup, process optimization, and ensuring smooth production while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, remove, and change molds on injection molding machines.
- Perform mold setup and machine startup for production.
- Ensure proper alignment, clamping, and securing of molds.
- Set process parameters such as temperature, pressure, injection speed, cooling time, and cycle time.
- Conduct first-piece approval before production begins.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot molding issues.
- Perform mold changeovers within the target setup time.
- Inspect molded parts for dimensional accuracy and quality.
- Ensure proper functioning of hot runner systems, cooling lines, and hydraulic connections.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to achieve production targets.
- Maintain production records, setup sheets, and machine parameters.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on molds and molding equipment.
- Identify process improvements to reduce cycle time and improve productivity.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness by following 5S practices.
- Adhere to company safety policies and manufacturing standards.
Pay: ₹10,851.97 - ₹36,629.86 per month
