- Operate milling machines to mill, drill, bore, grind, and shape work pieces according to specifications
- Monitor and adjust machine settings for temperature, cycle speed, and precision
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
- Perform regular maintenance checks and routine cleaning to keep machines in optimal working condition
- Replace worn tools and machine parts as necessary
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and protect equipment
- Record data for each job, including materials used, machine settings, and product output
- Communicate with team members and supervisors about machine performance and maintenance needs.
