We are looking for a disciplined, proactive, and result-oriented Hotel General Manager who can independently manage daily hotel operations, team performance, revenue optimization, guest satisfaction, and quality standards.
Position Summary
The Hotel General Manager will be responsible for the complete day-to-day operation of the hotel, ensuring excellent guest experiences, strong online reputation, efficient staff management, revenue growth, and adherence to all operational standards.
Daily ResponsibilitiesMorning Operations
- Begin daily operations with a morning prayer/positive team briefing.
- Review overnight reports, emails, and urgent guest issues.
- Conduct complete property inspection.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, housekeeping quality, maintenance status, and cleanliness standards.
- Review occupancy, arrivals, departures, room inventory, and room status.
Front Office & Reservations
- Supervise reservations, check-ins, check-outs, billing, and guest services.
- Monitor room inventory and occupancy.
- Ensure OTA bookings are correctly managed.
- Resolve booking discrepancies and guest concerns.
Revenue Management
- Monitor pricing strategy daily.
- Analyze occupancy trends, competitor pricing, and market demand.
- Optimize room rates across all channels.
- Increase RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy performance.
OTA & Distribution Management
- Manage Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, Goibibo, MakeMyTrip, and other OTAs.
- Maintain rate parity and inventory accuracy.
- Improve OTA ranking and conversion performance.
- Respond to OTA reviews and guest feedback.
Housekeeping & Quality Control
- Supervise housekeeping staff continuously.
- Conduct quality audits throughout the day.
- Ensure rooms meet brand standards before guest arrival.
- Monitor linen, amenities, deep cleaning schedules, and maintenance issues.
Guest Experience Management
- Handle guest complaints professionally.
- Ensure prompt service recovery.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores.
- Improve review ratings across all platforms.
CRM & Marketing
- Maintain guest database.
- Generate repeat business and loyalty initiatives.
- Coordinate with marketing activities and promotional campaigns.
- Support social media and digital marketing efforts.
Financial Management
- Monitor daily revenue and expenses.
- Verify billing accuracy and cash controls.
- Coordinate GST compliance, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Control departmental costs and improve profitability.
Human Resource Management
- Manage employee attendance and discipline.
- Conduct staff training and performance reviews.
- Prepare duty rosters.
- Ensure team productivity and accountability.
Compliance & SOP Management
- Implement hotel SOPs.
- Conduct operational audits.
- Ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are maintained.
- Maintain operational documentation and reports.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hotel management experience.
- Experience managing budget, mid-scale, or business hotels.
- Strong knowledge of OTA platforms and hotel technology systems.
